Electronic Policy:  

At no time will students be allowed to use their electronic devices in class.

Students will be able to use the ipads in my room when needed.

Grading Policy
Each nine weeks we will have 3 test and 1 project.
A minimum of 9 daily grades.

Tests and project count 70%
Daily grades count 30%

In the gradebook:

If you see an X that means the student DOES NOT have to make up the work.

If you see an Z that means a student was not here when we did that assignment and needs to turn it in for full credit.

or

If you see an Z that means a student did not turn in their paper and can still turn it in following the late work policy.

If you see a 0 that means a student was here and did not do the assignment and can not make it up.

Late Work:
If a student turns in an assignment one day late for 10 points off.

If a student turns in a project late, it is 10 points off a day until you get to a 50.

Retest policy:
Students are allowed one retest per 9 weeks.

Students must do remediation over the test material before retesting.

Students must take the retest before the next scheduled test of the 9 weeks. If no more tests are scheduled, then it must be taken before the 9 week grading period ends.

Maximum grade received for a retest is 100.
